The organic, fair-trade coffee is grown in the mountains west of Lake Tawar in Aceh, Sumatra. These certified organic growers process their coffee to the pergamino stage and then transport the parchment to a central mill where it is hulled and sun dried on elevated drying tables. This method of processing gives these beans their distinct character.
The result? Low acidity, full body with a rich, syrupy texture. Rich in aroma, body, character.
